Family Guy (9/24)

On last night's episode, the writers took thinly-veiled shots at Wal-Mart when Meg got a job at Superstore USA. The episode culminated with Stewie and Brian destroying the local franchise with a tank. That...was...awesome. Admittedly, I'm just a casual watcher, but of all the things I've seen them poke fun of, this was the first time I felt there was an actual underlying, political statement intended to come across. Applause, applause.

On a completely unrelated note, there was a tie on Jeopardy last week. I didn't realize there was a procedure in place for such an event, but apparently in those cases, both players move on as co-champions. I wonder how many times that's happened in the show's history. With the wagers in the Final Jeopardy round being entirely up to the contestants, it seems like the odds are against it.
