Kaiser Sosed

I had long given up on "Saturday Night Live." The last thing they really had going for them, in my opinion, was their rap about the Chronic(what?)cles of Narnia, which wasn't even a live skit. But for some strange reason, I was home tonight and decided to tune in to a rerun with Kevin Spacey hosting, and they did a hilarious parody of The Usual Suspects. There may be some hope for this fading star yet.

While SNL is a gamble these days, a show that never fails to please is "Entourage," which is early in its third season and a stand-alone oasis among the summer dreck. If you're not already watching this and you get HBO, make sure you tune in Sundays to catch it. While simultaneously celebrating and poking fun of Hollywood, it offers an entertaining look at showbiz with the quality HBO is becoming known for. Seriously, do yourself the favor. If you get On Demand, catch up with earlier seasons first.
