change of direction

When I started this blog, I envisioned not just another daily digest, but a community for friends to discuss what they're watching, what they're listening to, and just anything affecting the public consciousness. I've been a little disappointed by the lack of external participation thus far, and so with this entry, I'm officially altering the mission statement to allign with what this blog has actually been in effect: a collection of personal observations on popular culture. I suppose it may have been expecting too much that friends with already busy schedules would find time for additional blogging, but while I no longer intend to have other contributors, the comments have been left active so people can still add their two cents.
